Following the tragic death of his cousin, Trey Scott’s world is turned upside down. Afraid for his safety, his mother, Deborah, decides that if she can’t move out of their now dangerous neighborhood, the next best thing would be removing him from the public high school he attends. She enlists the help of her boyfriend, Kenneth-the principle at a local prep school. With his help Trey is enrolled into the prestigious prep school; something he isn’t happy about. While trying to navigate the world of his new prep school, Trey soon finds that, although his mother means well, the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
