Kingdomwood International Film Festival was founded in 2008 originally as Kingdomwood Christian Film Festival by Audrey Thomas and Joe Williams. The annual film festival provides a forum for independent filmmakers to screen films that promote and inspire Christian teaching and values. KIFF screens full features, shorts, and documentaries, and offers workshops and symposiums that offer insight and analysis of industry trends in faith-based filmmaking and production.

Overdrive Movement #OverdriveMvt has some exciting news. #ODM was recently selected to screen ‘The Storm After’ a Independent Film starring Juan Netts Directed by LaWanda Williams at the 2019 Urban Film Festival in Miami. The #UFF is a 3 day film festival focused on educating, exposing & providing distribution opportunities for the new generation filmmakers in Over-town, Miami – OCTOBER 11TH-13TH weekend.

Following the tragic death of his cousin, Trey Scott’s world is turned upside down. Afraid for his safety, his mother, Deborah, decides that if she can’t move out of their now dangerous neighborhood, the next best thing would be removing him from the public high school he attends. She enlists the help of her boyfriend, Kenneth-the principle at a local prep school. With his help Trey is enrolled into the prestigious prep school; something he isn’t happy about. While trying to navigate the world of his new prep school, Trey soon finds that, although his mother means well, the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
